This is one of my favourite dresses for a night out. I bought this a couple of years ago so I’ve worn this a few times. The polyester material gives the dress a beautiful swish as you walk and move around.
I’ve worn this with heels and with flats. Both work because of the length – nobody can see what footwear you’re wearing unless you’re walking.
This dress pairs perfectly with champagne and special occasions.
Fit and sizing
Except for a length alteration, this fit my small frame perfectly! I wouldn’t size up or down. The waist is fitted, so it doesn’t stretch.
Design
The neckline is low-cut, so wear a bandeau underneath if you wish for a bit of modesty. Otherwise, bra-less or breast petals are the way to go.
There’s a nice slit on the left side of the dress. The slit doesn’t go too far up so you don’t need to wear a slip underneath.
There are two ribbons to tie back for a closer fit. Because of the ‘busy’ pattern you don’t really notice the ties at the back.
Material
This is my only gripe about the dress: it’s 100% polyester, which means poor fabric breathability. I’ve worn this outdoors and it was very sweaty. Be warned.
