Mister Zimi Review: Spanish Dress in Mandarin

Review

Product page

This was the very first Mister Zimi dress I bought! I’d describe it as daytime glamorous without being extra.

My friends jokingly call it the “influencer dress” because it’s the sort of stylish dress an influencer would wear for a photo shoot.

Fit and sizing

I bought a size 8. The waist fit well. I wouldn’t size up or down.

I was worried that the off-shoulder elastic would be loose (because the dress is designed for larger people) but the elastic fit nicely.

It’s quite long, so you definitely need to alter it if you’re petite. Even if you wore this with high heels, I still think you would need to alter the length.

Design

The dress comes with two straps so you can tie a halter neck, but I never use it so I just tuck it inside.

The off-shoulder design is flattering and feminine.

The print is a lively print with mandarin oranges. This is one of my favourite dresses. I even considered buying the same in another pattern but restrained myself.

Material

The material is viscose, which flows very nicely. The wrinkles do seem to show up easily, maybe because the Mandarin print is less brightly coloured than a print like Bloom.
